Who Said Playing Dress-up Was JUST for Girls ?
As you may already know I have a wonderful 4 yr old ( almost 5 !!!!) wonderful little boy AJ. He has made a few cameo appearances in my YouTube videos for which he helps me stage and prepare for each time my little helper. Well with all of my blogging adventures and product reviews I have been doing he came to me i think back in May expressing his grudge against my blog since I didn't not talk about boy stuff not nearly enough to satisfy him. And on went my search for a topic / activity I could talk about with you guys that exclusively included my little man. The it hit me...he loves superheroes.

So that night I sat down with him after Sophia went to sleep and we went through BuyCostumes section of superhero costumes. I kind of wanted him to get the Superman one and then Sophia the Superwoman one but he told me he just wanted a costume for just him. -my heart melted a little- He wasn't being bratty by the way, I think he just feels Sophia - since she is the baby and a girl - sometimes gets a bit more attention than he does. ANYWAYS scrolling down he spotted this Wolverine costume and his face lit up with excitement.
Now AJ is no stranger to costume outside of Halloween time. He has a couple - a rocketship, a Top Gun jump suit, Iron Man etc but there was something special about this Wolverine costume. The moment I ordered it he asked me about ever half hour - is my costume here yet ? is it here ? is the box man here ? are you sure you checked? I knew something as simple as this was truly making him feel special.
So the day came that the costume arrived and as soon as I opened the package he insisted on immediately wearing it. I'm pretty sure he even wore it to bed that night too LOL ! it fit perfect on his Boys 5/6 size little body and easy enough for him to put on himself and take off for potty trips. When wearing the costume he has been keeping the mask part of it on and off at times. But it does fit him perfectly not to lose or too snug, I think he just gets bored of it at times, typical 4 yr old.
Overall I feel happy with this Wolverine costume. AJ has had a blast getting into character with it and saving his sister from the bad guys. The only thing I guess I wish it had were the claws ! maybe gloves with them on it or something ? But other than that we are really enjoying it :-) Imaginative play is sooo important in the development of our children s creative abilities. Plus its super fun !!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

OH BTW what would a superhero photo shoot be without a princess ballerina to save ??
LOL what a ham !!
