Summer Makeup Trend: Go Nude  #RimmelRealBeauty
**Video at bottom of post**
Summer is here and so is the heat ! Which means it is time for us to mix up our makeup routine a bit and try out some new products and looks for the season. Today I am going to be showing you guys how to get a Fresh Faced Summer Look for both day & night, and all for $30 by using affordable Rimmel makeup.

Feel free to also check out my No-Melt makeup tutorial for a more pool side/beach wear makeup look too.

For starters we are going to need some new materials. -- The trend/idea I had going shopping was to get products to create a more natural nude look for during the day, with just a subtle pop of color to brighten things up. For the night look I want to bring in the super trendy color right now: emerald green. Green looks great on everyone and really isn't as intimating to apply as it may seem.
Best part ? Walmart has a bunch of Rimmel makeup on Roll Back for only $3.97!
Plus I had a few $1 off coupons from the newspaper so it was a total score!!
Check out my Google + story for more insight of my shopping trip.
Products I will be using
Rimmel Natural Bronzer- 021 Sun Light
Day Time :
Glam’ Eyes Quad Eyeshadows - 621 Orion
Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss - 120 Non-Stop Glamour
 Date Night :
Glam’ Eyes Quad Eyeshadows - 024 Green Sapphire
Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss - 720 Endless Night

And actually I did a review / first impressions on the Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner back in March so check that out too :-)
So grab your mirror and makeup and lets get started !
  • Now these first 2 steps will be the same for both looks -
- Set your foundation and concealer for a Shine Free & long lasting finish with a light dusting of Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
- Then with a bronzing/contouring brush apply the Rimmel Natural Bronzer to the concave of your cheeks (make a fishy face if you need help finding them) I also like to apply bronzer lightly to the tops of the temples & forehead.

For the more natural day time look -

For a more date night look -

  1. I love rimmel they definitely offer a great prize for a quality item :) I love both of your looks as well :) Gorgeous xx

  2. I recently gave emerald a shot since it's Pantone's color of the year this year and I have to say, I do actually like how it looks against my dark eyes. Great little tutorials!

  3. I'm in a makeup rut, I'm pretty set in my routine and haven't changed things up in a long time. Thanks for the tutorial and ideas!

  4. Your eye makeup looks gorgeous. I am not one of those women who has mastered the art of putting make up on so I just put on enough that I don't look like I just woke up.

  7. Great tutorial - thanks for showing us how it's done. :)

  8. I don't know if I'd be brave enough for emerald green - but maybe if I did it that subtley I could pull it off!
