MÍA MARIÚ Botanical Skin Makeup Review

First things first I would like to thank Mía Mariú for sending me these products to try out and review while giving my honest opinion.
Mía Mariú offers high quality, botanical based skin care treatments, nutritional supplements, mineral make-up, hand crafted make-up application tools and fragrances.
The first product I want to talk about is the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo in Romance De Octono.
#Iaminlove because this eye shadow is so creamy, yet pigmented enough to not need a ton of product to create a flawless look. This is the perfect duo for an everyday natural eye look.
The deeper color is great because it can be used in the crease very lightly to created some depth or a bit heavier handed and smoked out for more of a night time look. I am a fan !
Up next is their Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Foundation and mine is in the shade - Vainilla.
'Oil-free mineral hydrating formula provides long wear, water resistant and luminous buildable coverage with perfectly balanced color pigments proven to meet skin tones without ash tones, opaqueness, or mask-like effect just a natural perfectly matched radiant tone. Helps improve the look of problem skin like rosacea, acne and discoloration contains Green Tea extract, Vitamin A, C and E (10g)'
While I am actually not a fan of using this with the recommended application method of a damp sponge and applying it that way all over the face. I found that this blended better with my oily/combo skin by using it as more of a spot concealer. To apply I use a stiffer / flat paddle concealer brush. This gives me all day acne coverage and sweat proof wear without feeling weighed down either.
I was also able to try out their Perfecting Finish Mineral Liquid Foundation also in the shade - Vainilla. Ok so I have not become a fan of this liquid foundation yet. Thicker in texture and a bit difficult to blend - I think I need a new blending sponge for one. I found it difficult to have it stay lookign natural after the initial application period. Meaning it looked great for about 20 minutes after I applied it but seemed to separate from my skin and sort of melt ?? making my skin look splotchy. I am still playing around with it though and hope to find a way of applying this that it will stay all day because it gives awesome - awesome coverage. Plus my dermatologist recommends that people with oily and acne prone skin use liquid mineral foundations so I want to make this work sooo bad !! Check out my post on 'My Skin Story - Dealing With Acne and Psoriasis' here for more on what my Dr recommends.

Overall my absolute favorite product of these three would be the mineral eye shadows and would consider picking up some of Mía Mariú's other color combos for sure.

Let me know in the comments below what kinds of mineral makeup's you use and how you apply them for best wear and coverage :-)
