Today I was running an errand at Target and decided to pick up 2 beauty pieces I have been ogling.
First is the E.L.F Studio Powder Brush. The brush has a flat top rather than a dome. I have never tried a brush like this before. I used it when I got home to touch up with a light face powder and it is extremely soft ! Because I had done my full makeup earlier in the day I was a bit skeptical reapplying as to not look caked on. But this really smoothed out the product with out smearing what was there and gave a nice even coverage. It did however shed a little, which is a first for me with the studio E.L.F. brushes but I could just have a defective one. I'm going to give it another day before exchanging it for another.

*Can I also point out that I think my eyebrows need a make over ?!? I have never been particularly good at eye brow shaping and what not. So if you have any tips feel free to share !!
**I have worn the shadow for a couple hours now and it does not seem to be fading in color or creasing. I think I am liking this idea for shadow I may need to make a plan to pick up another one hehe
Now for the bargain part. I love trying new makeup but I am a stay at home mom so my 'mommy' budget is limited. So for this trip I tried to plan ahead. I received this mailer below which included a 5% off anything Q, a $3 off a $5 beauty purchase and a $5 off $25 or more Champions clothing purchase. Today I stacked a $1/1 Maybelline eye shadow manufacture coupon AND a Target coupon which I printed off of their website. Along with the $3/$5 mailer, I paid oop $3.84 for both. Phew !
