LORAC The Royal Collection | Holiday 2014 | Review + (VIDEO)

These products Lorac were sent to me for review consideration. However, all opinions and experiences are that of my own.
I first discovered Lorac in December 2013.

Yes I am a bit of a prestige makeup late bloomer.

The Lorac Pro (the original) is the very first higher end makeup product I've ever owned. Funny thing is, it wasn't love at first sight for me, I know right ?? Then I started to not be afraid to actually use the palette and fell madly deeply in love with it. Then this past summer 2014 the Lorac Pro 2 was released and I bought it literally the hour it hit the virtual online shelf. Lorac Pro 2 First Impression w/Swatches + Mini Ulta HAUL. And the rest is history.

Today I am going to go over 4 of The Royal Collection sets from the Lorac Holiday 2014 Collection.
Don't they come packaged super adorably?

No ... ugh ... I do not have the Lorac Mega Pro Palette and it crushes my heart ... daily. I can't exactly remember but I think that was the week we were moving and didn't have internet. I just totally missed when it was in stock. By the time I got on to check it was sold out everywhere. womp womp :-( Moving on.

Lets go in order the way I go over them in my full / demo video. Be sure to watch to see how these products apply and gather some more of my thoughts on these products as they naturally pop into my head.

The Royal Full Face Collection - Kohls Exclusive $40.00

This is the perfect all in one makeup set. I think anyone from beginner to makeup enthusiast would love this set. The Full Face Collection comes with everything you need to complete a flawless timeless look.
This kit includes :
Alter Ego Lipstick in Duchess
Lip Lustre in Rose Lustre
Pro Blush in Coral blush
Four single pot eye shadows in Espresso, Cream, Chai, and Honey
3-in-1 Waterproof Pencil in Ultra Black
Cobra Mascara (see below for an up close look at this fab mascara)
Pictured here left to right as listed above.

Both Espresso and Cream can be found in the original Lorac Pro Palette but I feel like they are essential staples. I totally don't mind having duplicates of these shades.
Lorac 3-in-1 Waterproof Pencil in Ultra Black - WOW this alone is worth $18 !!!
This pic was taken the first time I attempted to film and write up this review -- yes I had a video and review all done up but hated it so I threw most of it out and started over free. #beautybloggerproblems. Here I am wearing everything from the Full Face Collection.

The Royal Lip Lustre Crème Set - Ulta Exclusive $25.00 ($90 Value)

There are 3 EXCLUSIVE shades in this set.
Shades include:
Tiara (Nude )
English Rose (Pale Pink) *Exclusively at Ulta
Majestic (Mauve) *Exclusively at Ulta
Your Highness (Hot Pink)
Debutante (Warm Pink ) *Exclusively at Ulta
Crown Jewel (Cherry Red )

I am very surprised by my favorites in this set - Majestic and Crown Jewel. I thought for sure that the nude shade, Tiara, would have taken my heart. In fact this shade is a bit too much on the brown side for my liking. Your Highness is also a bit different than I expected. It wears and swatches more like a jelly gloss than an opaque one.
Tiara, English Rose, Majestic, Your Highness, Debutante & Crown Jewel

None of the glosses are sticky and the longevity of them is on par with a nicer formula = bit longer than a cheaper gloss but the glossiness of it does wear off during a meal. I have found that the imprint of color from darker shades tend to stick around, even after a meal. They don't quite stain the lips but hold on a bit longer than the lighter ones.

The Royal Eye Duo $22.00 ($39 Value)

3D Lustre/Liner in Copper/Black Cherry & Cobra Mascara
How cool is the head of this wand ? The brush perfectly cups lifts and curls lashes into place.

The Royal 3D Liquid Lustre Set – Limited Edition $28.00 ($64 Value)

The set comes with 4 Limited Edition Shades : Opal, 24K, Rose Quartz, and Amethyst
Left to Right : Rose Quartz, 24K, Amethyst, and Opal
I was so excited to get my hands on these. I've never tried a product like these before. They gorgeous liquid lustre drops are the perfect 'grown up' sparkle.
They can be used in a variety of ways too. Worn alone on the eye lid, used as a top coat to an eye shadow look, mixed in with body lotion for an all over glow, sparingly in the hair and can even be used to create a funky fun ombre nail look. While these are ultra liquidy they dry to a grittier finish. Once you have place this down and it sets it is not going anywhere. I haven't experienced any fall out of shimmer glitter on my face at all.

Which Lorac Holiday set are you most interested in ?
Will you be picking up any ? If so who are you purchasing it for ?
Yourself ? Hey I don't judge :-)
