Spring 2014 FabFitFun Box + Product Reviews

My Spring 2014 FabFitFun box has arrived !!!
I haven't done one of these boxes before so I am super stoked to see whats going to be inside. Now I do know what two of the contents are from the sneak peaks I shared on the blog earlier this month but other than that I have no idea what to really expect.

FabFitFun is a quarterly curated box by Giuliana Rancic!
The box comes filled with hand-selected items in beauty, fashion, fitness,
and wellness and basically just the right amount of FabFitFun!

The contents of this box = $217.91 !!!
A total bargain since the box costs only $50 and sometimes you can find $5 off coupon codes !

Use promo code : SUMMER5 for $5 off the upcoming summer box. This code is valid until July 15.

What came in the box :
(Keeping scrolling down to see individual reviews of the products)

  • Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer $38
  • Kai Perfume Oil $48
  • Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray $25

  • Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD $28.94

  • Level Naturals Shower Bombs $7.99
  • The Better Chip Spinach and Kale with Sea Salt $1.99
  • Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt $19.99
  • Cult Gaia - Head Turband $48
Sophia has hijacked my Turband headband for herself. But lets face it, everything looks cuter on her :-)
Also I going to have to look up where to buy these chips because they were AMAZING. As in Sophia and I just housed that bag in like 2 seconds without any dip. Seriously yummy !!
The shower bombs are pretty cool. The fragrance reminds me of  Vicks vapor rub for when you are sick. These would probably be awesome for congestion relief. They wore down in the shower relatively quickly and about half way I lost the scent of them. I could have been acclimated to the smell by then though. Honestly the next time I use one I will probably try and break it in half first and save the second half for another time.
As for everything else :

The exfoliating mitt did well to sloth of my icky psoriasis skin - I know I'm not supposed to agitated those areas but I can't help myself it looks so icky.

The primer is nice I have to try it a few more times before I have a final verdict.

The perfume is refreshing and reminds me of Spring time back home in NY.

The dry shampoo, I don't know. I tried it the other day on second day hair and I don't feel like it did anything at all. I shook it up real good and sprayed my roots from several inches away then waited a few minutes before finger combing the areas but I didn't see any absorption of my greasiness. I'm going to give it another try before I call it a dud but yea. Disappointing. Especially from something that is supposedly $25 !!

So that is my Spring 2014 FabFitFun Box + Product Reviews.
Let me know what item you were impressed to see in the box in the comment area below :-)

  1. I have psoriasis too. I feel you about exfoliating and stuff. I find that when I keep the plaque from building up, it is less likely to crack but of course, the dermatologist says don't do that. Anyway, I have been using AmLactin Body Creme on my psoriasis and it works really well. It keeps the plaque away, keeps everything soft and movable and moisturizes well. Just a tip in case you were looking for something new to try. Also, you can sometimes find coupons on coupons.com for it too.

  2. So lame about the dry shampoo because I definitely consider $25 a can to be a "luxury" item. :/
