Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara | Demo & Review #RetroMania

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes
I got this in my Rose VoxBox feel free to click that link to see my whole un-boxing video along with all the other goodies that came in the box.

Bold, wide-eyed volume! It’s lash mania!

The Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara is a great everyday mascara. Nothing crazy or over the top. It did give me some length, a bit of a lift and curl but was not over dramatic or spidery.  I do however recommend applying it in light handed layers because I can see the possibility of it getting a bit clumpy. It has a pretty thick formula, but that makes sense, it is after all a volumizing mascara. Luckily there isn't a ton of product that comes out on the bristles (other than the tip which I mentioned in the video to just wipe off before continuing to apply) making it easier to apply several light layers to achieve a desired look. I love build-able mascaras! Some days you might want wah-bam lashes and other days a more simple look is appropriate. I really like how light and wispy my lashes looked after applying this Retro Glam mascara. For me, this mascara is just enough to finish off my whole (daily) makeup look.

What do you think ? Not enough ? Just Right ? Let me know in the comments below ...

  1. Glad I read this review! I have read a lot about Rimmel mascara and I have been tempted to try it. I appreciate your honest about a great everyday mascara- I happen to like my everyday over the top (drag queen-ish) =] If you are looking for a great mascara with LOTS of length, volume, and drama- try Better Than Sex by Two Faced. Hands down the best I have ever tried!
