Product Review + GIVEAWAY - Corset Chick - Green Forest Fairy Dryad Corset

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I had fun browsing the site picking out which corset I wanted to review. They have everything from wedding, to frisky to shape wear and Halloween / costume corsets. I finally decided on this green and black detailed sweet heart neckline corset.
My first worry with putting in my selection was the size. Going over the size chart - and having had tried on corsets in the past - I know to always choose one size slightly larger than what you would normally wear. I ended up selecting it in the size : 3/4XL (34-38"). I wear a size 14 pant / dress an XL shirt and a 38D bra.

Right off the bat I noticed the color wasn't as royal of a green as it appeared online. Not a huge deal for me but in case your matching this piece to an outfit or something its good to know. Like I said above I did order this in a 3X but I am thinking now I should have gotten the size down. When I first put this on it was quite loose, so we tied the back tighter and that helped it feel more fit. However, with a corset you don't really want it to fit or be a bit loose, you want it to be a tad tight to hold you in and give you some lift - basically this size did not do that for me. As for the construction of the corset I was really surprise at the detail and quality of the boning and material !! Very nice !! It is a beautiful piece and am hoping to exchange this for the next size down, add in a black tut skirt some dark makeup and wing and I am a dark fairy for Halloween - Boo-yeah costume complete.

  3. I would pick the Cheetah print corset. The Army Camouflage Corset is also a possibility. I like how yours looks and unless Halloween, I'd struggle with where to wear something that fancy.

  13. They have "BELLY DANCER CAPRI PANTS" that are an alternative for my bellydance costume if it's too cold for a skirt. I would choose the red or white and dress them up.
