Hot Iron Holster Review

When I first saw this product I was like 'what the heck is that?'

Intrigued by its strange shape and purpose I came to find that is was a pretty nifty little invention!  I know all to well of the annoyance that limited counter space from living in an apartment can be. My sink and bathroom counter is just pathetic if you ask me. So lucky for me Hot Iron Holster was kind enough to send me one of their products to try out and review plus offer one for me to giveaway (more on that later).
So what exactly is this thing ?

Made of heat resistant (up to 500° F) silicone a Hot Iron Holster is made to hold all of your styling tools; think flat iron, curling wands and hair dryers. I really like that the holster does not use any sort of adhesive and is not permanently attached to the surface. With no suction cups the grippy yet smooth & rubbery texture of the underside sticks to just about every type of surface, and believe me I know :-)

One of my favorite aspects of this product is that it holds the tool while its heating up and cooling down - meaning less of a chance that my kids are going to get burned when walking by. Even if I am sitting right there I was always worried the kids would pull on the cord or walk by and accidently pull on it and have it fall onto themselves every time I straightened or curled my hair. Now I just place the tool in the little pocket and know that even if the kids walk up to it they won't get burnt.

My holster has found its home at my beauty table AKA vanity - being that I am far too lazy to stand and do my hair in the bathroom anymore. Since the table is flat the extra flap part to the holster allows for the added benefit of providing a resting place for my tools during styling. I have several burns in my table already and even a melted piece of my makeup holder so this is a welcomed addition for sure !!
A Hot Iron Holster is the perfect gift for the beauty buff in your life to the new college students headed to tiny dorms to mommies with little ones running around. It comes in four fun colors : Pink, Purple, Black, and White.

I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who uses hot tools to style their hair.

  2. I would love one of these. It would be a perfect holder for when you are trying to multitask with hairspray and your curling iron or flat iron at the same time! I burn myself too many times trying to do that!

  3. I really need one of these, I leave my in the sink while it is heating and every time someone else needs the sink they have to out it on the counter and they forget to put it back in the sink.

  4. I really need this! My chi came with a flat mat that it sits on but I would like to have the cabinet space where it lies. It would be super convenient to have this hanging over the side.

  6. This would be so handy and save space because I have a tiny counter area in my bathroom and it's pretty cluttered with 5 people's daily products on it!

  8. This would be great to have! I am always afraid of my flat iron coming crashing down on the floor or one of my kids accidentally touching it. It would also free up some counter space!

  10. I appreciate that this holster won't permanently attach to any surface - I wouldn't want anything ruining my bathroom countertop so this is the perfect solution!
