Stella Artois - BzzAgent

Bzzagent has graciously accepted me into another one of there awesome campaigns. This one is about the elegant and infamous chalice used for enjoying your favorite Belgium beer, Stella Artois. Who knew that there is a 9 step pouring ritual to the perfect pour of Stella ?!

I think the chalices don't only make the beer seem fancier but I used it for my  favorite wine and soda :-) don't tell hubby ! He especially has been excited about this campaign

Check out this video for a lesson on the 9 steps

You too can have your own chalice ! Purchase one here.

On the Stella Artois site I found an informative question and answer area. Below I highlighted some interesting reads.

Is there a reason that Stella Artois is poured in the glass of that particular shape ?
There are several brilliantly crafted reasons the Stella Artois Chalice has been formed in its unique shape. The original shape of Chalice allows the beer to breathe, develop a pristine head and reach its full glory! The contour at the bottom of the Chalice creates a wave when the beer is poured, providing an ideal balance between beer and foam. And of course, the stem is a place to hold onto so that Stella Artois stays colder longer.

What are the best foods to pair with Stella Artois ?
The crisp bitterness of Stella Artois associated with its fruity accent and malty touch makes it a great companion of many cheeses. Both hard cheese such as a nice Gruyere or an old Gouda, as well as some mild hard goat cheese. The mild malt and light hops of Stella Artois accentuate the richness of dishes such as lobster and shellfish without overwhelming the balance of flavors. Try it also on Sushi or Sashimi for a more unexpected pairing.

Here is another 9 step pour video, a spoof-ish version
